Portugal Air Summit Award for IST student

Nuno Guerreiro is the IST student investigating incremental control techniques for aeroplanes in his thesis. His effort was recognized in the one of the biggest air summits in Europe and earnt him 1st place with the award of value of 2 500€! His work in the project has been supervised by prof. Alexandra Moutinho, who accompanies INCEPTION since the very beginning.

This award is a confidence vote and motivates the whole team to go further in this research. Nuno will continue his work in non-linear control systems, both from a theoretical and practical point of view.

Portugal Air Summit gathers the industry's leading entities and personalities to debate and analyze the Aviation and Aeronautics potential and future growth. This edition took place at Ponte de Sor Municipal Airfield focusing on the central theme "Powering Human Capital" and offering an amazing Air Show and the Air Race Championship.
